MAXIMO

Just a quick Dr.'s appointment update: Maximo now weighs 7615 grams (16 lbs. 12 oz.) and is 64.5 cm (25.4 in.) in length; his head circumference is 42.3 cm (16.7 in.) Unfortunately, the doctor wasn't super pleased with his weight (could we really expect two good Dr's visits in a row?). He gained since last time, but is now following the normal growing curve (at very low percentages). Dr. Zegarra says he should be gaining more weight to catch-up. So, Maximo needs to eat more calories- which translates into baby food as: yucca, potatoes and sweet potatoes.
Also, he was pretty concerned with Maximo's legs... They are very hypertensive. So, he wants us to check back in with him after we see the specialist on Monday. We may need to return to the neurologist for another scan.
