MAXIMO

We've just returned from Maximo's 4th month check up. We can't believe he's 4 months old (tomorrow)! He now weighs 5470 grams (12 lbs. 1 oz) and is registering in the 3rd percentile for his age;) (Not bad for 2 months early!) He's 59.5 centimeters long (23 1/2 inches) and his head is measuring 39.4 centimeters (15 1/2 inches). Dr. Zegarra said that he is very happy with Maximo's progress.
So all news was good, except (oh, our life would be boring without the "excepts") he thinks that his legs are a little hyperreflexive. We're not sure what that means. Dr. Zegarra told us not to worry and hopefully the physical therapy will work it out. We can't worry about it. We're just enjoying having the little guy here. He's becoming more interactive with us which has been a lot of fun.
He also got a couple of vaccinations today, and is already fast asleep, hopefully for a while...
