MAXIMO

Well, I had time to get all artsy fartsy with the banner above because Maximo is beginning to nap more! The past few days we've been running around a lot - Christmas shopping, introducing him to everyone at school, social engagements, and he's been a champ! He pretty much sleeps through most of it, waking when he's hungry and sometimes just to say hello. We thought this might interrupt his night time sleeping, but he's doing quite well. Last night he slept for 5 hours, then 3.5, and then 2. He's eating almost twice before he goes to bed, which is letting him sleep for 5 hours, then is hungry and eats to last 3.5 hours, but then is sleepy, so doesn't eat much at the 4:00 feeding and has been getting up with the sun at 6:00.
Writing this, it still seems like he's waking up a lot, but it's much, much better than it was.
With all this extra sleep, he seems much happier. He's a lot more smily and yesterday he even laughed for his dad! Twice now, I've walked into his room to get him from his crib and he has huge smile on his face when he sees me. It just makes my day!
