Maximo loves squash! We're just winding down a great, relaxing long weekend. Now we're back to work for another five long weeks before we get another break. Today Maximo ate three whole meals (his first time) - breakfast was yogurt mixed with banana and mango puree, lunch was a puree of potato, peas, and leeks with pears and prunes for dessert and for dinner he chowed on squash and bananas. (I think he ate better than both of us today.) He loves to eat which is really great, but drinking anything other than Momma's milk is becoming a bit of a fight. We tried water in a sippy cup today because we couldn't get him to take any out of a bottle. He drank a little. Even drinking his sweet passionfruit juice is sometimes a fight - this weekend, we could barely get him to drink any. (Momma's boobs were in the vicinity.)
All in all, he's super happy and fun to be around. We had a great weekend of going to the beach, going on walks and playing in the baby pool!
