Peru is definitely the place to have little kids. We ventured out again to get Maximo's birth certificate (finally) and run a couple of errands - a calcium supplement for him and to pay a speeding ticket (John's). The speeding ticket may actually make it into Maximo's baby book... It was John's first day back to work after Maximo came home, and it was him rushing home at 3:45 because he was missing us terribly. It was only $20.00, so it wasn't that bad. Anyways, we were ushered through lines and everybody was gushing over him. This is probably another reason we shouldn't go out much because EVERYONE wants to see the baby. It was very easy to get his birth certificate. We got two extra copies, so now we have to get his Peruvian and US passports before our trip to Mendoza, Argentina in February.
He's still eating like a champ, so we hope the doctor's visit on Friday will be nothing but good news. We'll report back then.
