11 Month Check-up

Today Maximo had his 11 month check-up. We were both surprised he actually gained a little weight this month with the crazy schedule due to all the traveling and refusing to eat the jarred food in the US. He now weighs 9.130 kg (20 lbs, 2 oz.) and is 72 cm (28.3 in.) long. This puts him at 20 % and 25 % respectively.
Doctors visits are pretty uneventful now which is nice. It'll be interesting if after his first year appointment we won't have to meet with the doctor monthly; we're not as geeked up by the numbers of his weight as we used to be.
As you can see in this picture, Maximo is pulling himself up. He's getting a lot more efficient with his crawling and is pulling up as much as he can though he prefers to pull up on one of us. He really likes pulling up on his dad's legs, using his leg hair as extra help. Once he's up, though, it doesn't last for long. He hasn't figured out that he has to hang on, so he reaches for a toy or something and dumps it.
Now, we are just enjoying the unseasonably warm Lima weather and even a little sunshine this afternoon.
