Yes, we know, this video is not the most action packed or exciting one you have ever seen, but he's just so darn cute - and we're doing that proud parent thing - showing off our kid.
Today was a great day with Maximo. Yesterday, he didn't drink any formula with us, so I thought it was just my L'eau de Milk. So, I caved in to get him to stop fussing by putting him on the milk tap, therefore telling my body to start producing milk during the day again - after not pumping at school on Friday and trying the give up the midday "feed".
Gloria came last night so we could go on a date, a late anniversary dinner, and our first time out for dinner in a long time. So, we asked her if she did anything "special" with the formula. And yes, she does... she heats it up a bit. I just figured, since the bottled water was at room temperature, that that was okay - it wasn't refrigerated. But, no! Our delicate little boy likes his refreshments at 98.6 degrees. So, after heating his formula today he chugged it down.
He has definitely inherited our ability to eat - he has been amazing with his food - eating so much - chicken, pork, veggies, rice, fruit, yogurt, cereal - you name it, pureed, he eats it! And it's doing a body good...
Today Kate, Linda and Richard came over and we put the kids together on the play mat to play. They interacted a little together - in the form of Maximo stealing whatever Kate was playing with, whenever he could. It's going to be fun watching these two over the next year or so as they become playmates - and friends, whether they like it or not. (For those of you who don't know Kate, she and Max had the same due date, but she decided to hang on until about that time - often times, we compare Max's development to her, even though we know we shouldn't!)
