The week of the: potato, carrot and apple. Effect: gas!
Maximo is really enjoying eating! He's devouring his food which has been fun to watch - and it's been fun making his food too! The only problem he's had the past two days (since he started the newest foods) has been a bit of constipation (hey, you chose to read this) - and gas, which has been waking him up. After not having anything but breastmilk in his system for six months, a bit of solid food is sure to stir things up!
Today, we had a great, relaxing Sunday. First, John gave Maximo his breakfast - cereal and bananas. He had Maximo cracking up and giggling up a storm, which I wish we had on film, but whenever I take out the camera, he stops and just stares at it and I didn't want to interrupt their cute bonding time. Later, we went out to lunch with Linda, Rich and Kate and the kids were great, so the adults (that's what we're calling ourselves these days;) got to actually enjoy our lunch.
Off to another long week, but I can begin my lactation leave this week! One hour off every day (at least the days I have planning last period - 3 out of 5, so I can't complain!)
